Thank You

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We hope we’ve given you a glimpse into what being part of our family is like. We have a lot of love to give, and we are humbled that you would consider us to be this child’s adoptive parents.

No matter the level of openness you wish to have, we desire to meet your request. If we are chosen as adoptive parents, rest assured that this child will always know that you love them and want what is best for them. We can provide a safe, supportive,...

Our Family

Our parents still live in the same homes where we grew up - they live about 15 minutes away from each other, which makes it funny that Nick and Amy didn’t meet until college. We now live about an hour away from them but see them often. Three of the grandparents each take a day every week to watch Cooper, and they plan to continue this with another child. They have such a fun bond since they get to spend so much time together!

Nick’s parents are great cooks (his dad makes the BEST fried chicken!) and...

Home Life

We live on about seven acres of wooded property just outside Indianapolis, Indiana. We love our spot; it’s the perfect blend of rural and suburban. We built our dream home on this land in 2015 and plan to grow old here. Our property has a way of making you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but there’s a town with great schools just down the road, and it’s a short 20-minute drive to downtown Indy. We love taking trips to the zoo, checking out new parks, and catching a few Butler Bulldogs games each year!

About Cooper

Cooper is a 6-year-old with a well-balanced mix of smarts, sass, and fun! He loves to know how things work. He had an extremely long “why?” phase as a toddler which has served him well; he has a variety of random knowledge, from basic aerodynamic principles to the scientific reason why it rains or how to operate Mom’s Cricut® machine.

Cooper loves sports and music. He plays on a baseball team and enjoys golfing with Grandpa. He dabbles in playing the drums and can always be found tapping...

About Amy, by Nick

The first time I met Amy was on a blind date at an Applebee's in small-town Indiana. She'll tell you that she didn't have many expectations about our date, but I was a nervous wreck. The moment I met her I could tell there was something special about this beautiful girl sitting across the table from me. She was confident, intelligent, and just witty enough to keep me on my toes. I knew this was a girl I didn't want to let go and thirteen years later, I still love those qualities.

All this time with her has shown...

About Nick, by Amy

From the moment I first met Nick, I was drawn to his infectious smile and his ability to connect with people. The man can strike up a conversation with a wall, I swear! His outgoing personality is the perfect balance to my introverted nature.

He is the definition of a gentle giant; at 6’3”, it’s easy to be intimidated by his physical size, but his heart is even bigger! Nick loves to help the people around him. Our neighbors are building their dream home, and Nick has spent countless hours being...

Our Story

Hello! We are Nick and Amy. Thank you for reading our story and learning more about us!

We were set up on a blind date in 2008 by a mutual friend who thought we’d be good together - spoiler alert - she was right! We quickly knew this was the real deal and our relationship blossomed seemingly overnight. We were married in the summer of 2010, surrounded by family and friends. We took a hayride from our wedding to our reception, and it is still a favorite memory of the...
